Faith @ First - July 21

A new school year is just two weeks away and there's a mix of excitement, nerves, and preparation. Supplies are being gathered, routines are shifting and students, families, and educators alike are preparing for the journey ahead. At church, we’re entering a new season too—one grounded in renewal, growth, and faith.
That’s why I’m excited to launch our new series: Back to Belief. Over the next few weeks, we’ll explore how the journey of faith mirrors the journey to school.
In Week 1 (this week), we’ll look at our spiritual Supply List—the armor of God that prepares us for every challenge.
In Week 2, we’ll take a ride on the metaphorical Bus, where we’ll talk about trusting God with every twist and turn of the year.
And in Week 3, we’ll have the opportunity to Meet the Teacher—Jesus, who leads with humility, grace, and truth.
We’ll culminate the series on Sunday, August 3rd with our Backpack Blessing and a special time of prayer for all educators, students, and school staff.
Whether you’re returning to school, sending someone off, or simply navigating a new season, this series is for YOU.
As we begin this new year together, let’s worship with hearts wide open. Let’s commit to grow, learn, and believe in deeper ways. God has lessons to teach, strength to give, and grace to cover every step.
