Faith @ First - October 31, 2025
Dear Noblesville First Family,
This Sunday, All Saints Day, is a sacred time in the life of our congregation.
We will be honoring the lives of the Saints, who have passed from the Earthly Church and joined the Church Triumphant this year. We will say their names, light candles and toll bells on their behalf. We will also create space for each of us to light candles for all those we have loved and lost.
It may sound odd, but I look forward to All Saints every year. I cherish the opportunity to say aloud the names of people who have shaped not only their families and communities, but our church with their faith. I look forward to lighting candles for those whom I’ve lost and whose Spirits still strengthen me.
But most of all, I look forward to doing this together. To be reminded that we don’t grieve alone but as one body of Christ-who share joys and pain, triumphs and trials. To preaching the hope of eternal life we find in Jesus against the void of death's defeat. In this holy observance of All Saints, we proclaim together that "there is a light in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it."
I hope you’ll join us this Sunday at our morning services in the Sanctuary at 9 or 10:30 or our evening service at 5pm in Celebration Hall.
May the light of Christ's love warm your heart and illuminate your faith,
Pastor Nicole
