Off Script and Overflowing Grace
John 8:1–11

This week, I had the privilege of gathering with women clergy from 35 states—and even Canada—at the LeadHer Conference. I had the honor of preaching the closing worship service, but—like so many moments in ministry—I left feeling that I had been blessed far more than I was a blessing.

One of the most meaningful moments came when we created vision boards.  I found myself drawn to words like “create,” “deeper,” and the phrase “something out of nothing.”

Immediately, I thought of John 8. The woman caught in adultery had nothing left—no defense, no dignity, no name even. Just judgment. But Jesus. Jesus knelt down in the dirt, and with one movement, rewrote her story with grace.

That’s what God does. That’s what God is still doing. God takes the pieces of our lives—the broken, forgotten, mislabeled parts—and says, “ Let’s make something beautiful out of what felt like nothing.”

If you’ve ever felt like your story went off script, I want to invite you to worship this Sunday. We’re diving into this story together, and I believe God has a word of new hope for you.

Speaking of something new, at 5PM on Sunday, we’ll hold our first preview service for Anchorpoint Modern Worship

Think music that moves youa come-as-you-are atmosphere, and a space designed for real connection with God and with each other. No suits, no pressure—just grace, community, and powerful worship.

If you’ve been looking for something fresh, something real, something anchored in love and lifted in spirit—save your seat at noblesvillefirst.com/anchorpoint.

Keep the Faith@First,
Pastor Nicole
