Faith@First - November 15, 2024
Dear Noblesville First Family,
Thank you, truly. Last week, we invited you into a unique worship experience—a space carved out for prayer, reflection, and communion with God—and you embraced that journey alongside us. I am deeply grateful to be part of a community that’s not confined to tradition but is led by the Spirit into new horizons of faith.
As we move through this season of Thanksgiving, my prayer is that you will join us again this Sunday as we reflect on the gentle, powerful words of Jesus, “Peace, be still.” Imagine, spoken amid a fierce storm, these simple words offered the disciples a deep and abiding assurance. They remind us that no matter how high life’s waves may rise, Jesus stands with us—present, willing, and able to calm every storm.
Together, we’ll dive into what it means to rest in this peace—a peace that isn’t dependent on life’s circumstances but rooted in Christ’s unwavering love and presence.
This Sunday is also a cherished moment for our church family, as we open our arms to welcome new members. For them, stepping into this faith community is like stepping aboard a ship, ready to set sail on a shared journey. As a congregation, we will encounter both challenges and blessings, but together, we are anchored firmly in the love of Christ.
Lastly, we continue to move through our stewardship campaign, and I want to express heartfelt gratitude for each of you who have pledged. Your generosity fuels our mission, allowing us to be a beacon of peace, hope, and love within our community and beyond. If you feel led to make a pledge, please CLICK HERE and take a moment to do so.
I pray that whatever storm clouds may have gathered in your life this week, you are reminded: Peace, be still.
I’ll see you Sunday,
Pastor Nicole
