Surgery Visits

Surgeries can be a difficult time for the person undergoing the procedure as well as their loved ones. We count it as a privilege to be able to sit with you on the day of your surgery to offer prayer and support in any way we can.

Final Days Ministries

Home Communion

Many things can keep you from coming to church on Sunday. We provide messages online so you never have to miss one, but there are some things that a video can’t replace. Communion is one of them. We have a team of dedicated volunteers who will bring Communion to you when you can’t make it here.

Prayer Cards

We diligently keep track of people in our congregation who need prayer. If you or a loved one needs prayer, please get in touch with us! We have a fantastic team of people who pray constantly and even send out a card (signed by multiple members of our congregation) to let people know we’re praying. We care about you—a lot!

Card and Note Ministry

Our Note/Card Ministry sends cards to those who are bereaved or dismissed from a hospital stay. Cards and notes are also sent out to those needing comfort or cheer. Know someone who would enjoy a note of greetings? Would you be able to help? Each month, volunteers receive names of 3-4 people to mail a note of encouragement and joy. Cards, return address labels and stamps are available in the office for your use.

Alzheimer's & Dementia Support Group

This group is designed for caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimer's and dementia. It's a time to share what's on our hearts and gather helpful information. The group meets the first Thursday of every month at 6:30PM in Conference Room B (Door 1). Caregiving for someone with dementia is extremely challenging, but talking with others who are going through the same things can help.

Grief Support (GriefShare)

Have you lost a loved one or know someone who finds it difficult to face each day? GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Thousands of GriefShare support groups meet weekly around the world. Visit or join the group at any time.

Fall Sessions are Thursdays through November 14

Each week there is a DVD seminar featuring nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people, followed by a small group discussion. Daily work in the GriefShare workbook also helps one look thoughtfully at their grief experience and helps in the healing process.

Our GriefShare group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We will walk with you through grief toward healing and hope for the future. Register in the church office or at griefshare.org. A one-time registration fee of $20 per participant is payable at the first meeting. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of the registration fee.
