Meet the Circles
The following Circles meet for study, prayer, fellowship, projects and fun. New members of all ages are always welcome!
Grace Circle
This circle meets the second Tuesday of the month (August-May) at 11am in the church parlor and combines mission work with a supportive fellowship. Their focus is service including Fueled for School and Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home. They chair the Lenten Breakfast. Next meeting: This will be on Tuesday, October 13 at 11am in the church parlor. Our own Pastor Brittney will be offering the program on her trip to Alabama with the youth. We will not have a regular meeting in November but strongly encourage members to attend and help with the BBB.
Updates: We had an awesome time helping at Fueled for School in August and presented them with a check for $1350.00!
Lydia Circle
This circle meets the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm in the church library, They focus on hosting the "Steppin' Up to Help" line dancing fundraisers, volunteering at the Fishers Food Pantry, working at Teter Retreat & Organic Farm, making cards for the Caring Connections, hosting a meal for Dinners on Us and ringing the bell for Salvation Army at Christmas time, as well as other activities. Next meeting: We will be serving the dinner at Dinners on Us, Thursday, Oct. 22 in memory of Kathy Harlow.
Updates: Our 2nd Annual Hymn Sing for the Chimbanda Scholarship Fund was very successful with $4,700.00 raised so far!
Priscilla Circle
This circle meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the church parlor and focuses on the Bags, Baskets and Blessings event each November. They sort, pack and deliver supplies for babies to organizations in Hamilton County that serve families in need. Luncheons and field trips provide additional opportunities for fellowship. Updates: PLEASE watch for upcoming ticket sales for the Bags, Baskets and Blessings on Friday, November 6.
Rebekah Circle
This circle meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9:30am in the church parlor and focuses on Christian fellowship, service and learning. We enjoy taking short trips to projects we support and we host the annual Christmas Tea. For more information, click here to email Carol Brost or call her at 317-896-3246.
Next meeting: We will meet on Wednesday, October 21 at 9:30am in the church parlor. Jeff Larken from the Sheriff's department will speak regarding elder safety and abuse through technology. Donations of candy are requested for the officers to keep in their cruisers for kids.
Updates: We enjoyed our summer off but are ready to get back together.
