Faith @ First - March 13, 2026

I still remember the feeling of getting my first team jersey. Holding it in my hands meant I wasn’t just watching or practicing anymore. It meant I belonged. For many of us, we know that moment. Maybe it was a jersey, a uniform, a badge, or even a simple T-shirt that said we were officially a part of team. But the longer you stay on a team, the more you learn that the jersey isn’t what actually makes a team strong.

A jersey can show who we play for, but it doesn’t determine how we play together. It’s the encouragement in the locker room. It’s the trust on the court. It’s choosing unity even when personalities, pressures, and expectations collide.

Scripture reminds us of this truth in Psalm 133:1: “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”

Unity is where strength grows. Unity is where teams thrive. And unity is where God’s presence moves in powerful ways.

In the church, we may not all wear the same jersey, serve in the same role, or stand in the same place—but we are still on the same team. We are called to build each other up, carry one another, and pursue unity together.

This Sunday we’ll continue our Full Court Faith series as we talk about Unity—what it looks like, why it matters, and how God uses it to strengthen His team.

And since we’re talking about teams, this Sunday is Jersey Sunday! Wear your favorite sports jersey or your church T-shirt as we celebrate being on the same team together.

Come ready to worship, connect, and be reminded that we’re better when we move together.

Keep the Faith@First,
Pastor Nicole
