Series: Milestones
May 11, 2025 | Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross
This Sunday, as we celebrate Mother’s Day, we honor the mothers, grandmothers, and maternal figures who have shaped our lives with strength, sacrifice, and boundless love. Our message, speaks to the beautiful tension many caregivers feel—overflowing with love while running on empty. But beyond the diapers, carpool lines, and late-night worries, motherhood offers us a glimpse into something even greater: the love of God. In Isaiah 66:13, God says, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.” The patience, forgiveness, and faithfulness we see in a mother’s love point us to the God who never gives up on us. This Mother’s Day, let’s celebrate the people who care for us—and find rest in the One whose love restores us all.
