Finding Hope in Service with Nancy Chance

Series: This Is My Story

August 18, 2024 | Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross

Nancy Chance, Executive Director of the The Good Samaritan Network, will share what it has meant to her faith to be that phone call of support for thousands of our neighbors in need. Through her story, we will be reminded that the call to community isn’t just about proximity, it’s about partnership. It’s answering Jesus' call to transform the world by working, serving, sharing and praying alongside one another. Nancy’s message of finding hope through community is one we desperately need to hear in our fractured and divided world.

Series Information

Throughout this series, we’ll celebrate the power of personal testimony and how our individual journeys reflect God’s ongoing work in our lives. Each week, we’ll hear from different voices within our community, sharing their stories of faith, struggle, and transformation. As we listen to these heartfelt accounts, we’ll be reminded that our stories, no matter how ordinary or extraordinary, are part of a larger narrative that God is weaving together. Join us as we explore how sharing our stories can inspire, encourage, and deepen our collective faith.
