Off Script

Series: Off Script: Writing God's Grace into Our Stories

May 04, 2025 | Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross

The woman caught in adultery had nothing left—no defense, no dignity, no name even. Just judgment. But Jesus. Jesus knelt down in the dirt, and with one movement, rewrote her story with grace.

That’s what God does. That’s what God is still doing. God takes the pieces of our lives—the broken, forgotten, mislabeled parts—and says, “ Let’s make something beautiful out of what felt like nothing.”

If you’ve ever felt like your story went off script, this is the sermon for you!
