Passion

Series: Full Court Faith

March 08, 2026 | Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross

When we're passionate about Jesus, it begins to affect the way we live. We want to spend time with Him. We want to know His Word. We talk about Him. We share what He's doing in our lives. Through Passion, faith stops being something we occasionally observe and becomes something we actively live.

The apostle Paul captured this kind of passion in Romans 12:11: “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” That word zeal speaks of passion—an enthusiasm that doesn’t fade when life gets busy or difficult. It’s the kind of passion that keeps us pursuing God, loving others, and living out our faith every day.

Series Information

The Lenten season calls us to practice spiritual discipline, sacrificial love, and perseverance in our daily lives. We’ll explore how Jesus models a different kind of leadership—one rooted in humility and service—challenging us to play both offense and defense when it comes to justice, mercy, and grace. As we journey toward Easter, Full Court Faith reminds us that faith isn’t meant to sit on the sidelines; it’s an active, all-in commitment to living out God’s love in every arena of life.
