Hope That Can't Wait

Series: What Can't Wait

December 01, 2024 | Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross

For God's hope is like fresh snow, covering our lives with promises of renewal, peace, and salvation. In Romans 15:13, Paul prays, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” This isn't just a quiet, reserved hope—it's an overflowing, eager hope that transforms us and compels us to share it with others.

This week, we invite you to worship with us as we focus on this “Hope That Can’t Wait.” Like children dashing into the snow, let’s come with expectant hearts, ready to encounter God’s presence. Together, let’s dive into the boundless hope God offers—because this hope, like children playing in the snow, just can’t wait!

Series Information

As we enter this season of Advent, we are invited to slow down, reflect, and anticipate the coming of Christ. But Advent is also a time to recognize the urgency of what can't wait. In a world that often rushes ahead, filled with distractions and noise, there are moments and truths that demand our immediate attention—God’s love, His promises, and the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ. This Advent, we will explore the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love—all of which can't wait.
