Peace That Can't Wait

Series: What Can't Wait

December 08, 2024 | Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross

Advent is a season of waiting, but hope can’t wait. In a world longing for peace, love, and restoration, hope propels us forward, even as we prepare for the coming of Christ. This hope isn’t passive; it’s active, urgent, and alive, stirring us to be light in the darkness and to reflect God’s promise of redemption. As we light the candles of Advent, we’re reminded that the hope we carry has the power to transform hearts and bring healing right now. At Noblesville First, we invite you to join us in embracing a hope that can’t wait—a hope that moves us to act, love, and believe in the promise of Emmanuel, God with us.

Series Information

As we enter this season of Advent, we are invited to slow down, reflect, and anticipate the coming of Christ. But Advent is also a time to recognize the urgency of what can't wait. In a world that often rushes ahead, filled with distractions and noise, there are moments and truths that demand our immediate attention—God’s love, His promises, and the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ. This Advent, we will explore the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love—all of which can't wait.
