Series: Led By The Spirit
April 20, 2025 | Rev. Nicole Caldwell-Gross
Jesus’ time on earth ends not with sadness, but with joy. As He blesses His disciples and ascends into heaven, something unexpected happens—they worship Him and return to Jerusalem filled with joy. In these brief yet powerful verses, we witness a profound moment of transition: Jesus is no longer physically present, but His presence feels even more alive.
In this sermon, we’ll explore what it means to be “led into joy” in the midst of change and uncertainty. Why weren’t the disciples crushed by grief? What did they understand about Jesus' blessing and His promise? And how might we experience that same joy today—even when things feel unfinished or unknown?
